With KDE 4.9, we introduced a new repository called nepomuk-core. This contained a combination of kdelibs/nepomuk and kde-runtime/nepomuk. It was created because of the API freeze present in kdelibs. Considering that most of the client libraries are thin wrappers over the runtime components, it made sense to combine them in one repository..

In order to be compatibile with kdelibs, the new library is installed with the Nepomuk2 namespace.

Now with KDE 4.10 we are going to have another new repository nepomuk-widgets. This repository contains the remaining GUI parts of kdelibs/nepomuk that were not moved to nepomuk-core.

For PlasmaWorkspace 4.10 you may expect an overhauled visual appearance and an overhauled user interface on some plasmoids.

The two weather plasmoids and the pager were rewritten in QML by Luis as part of his gsoc, while others are in the works.

The Notifications and jobs plasmoid is in the works, solving many behavioural bugs that were a limit of the previous architecture (more on that later;)

A Kickoff replacement is on the works as well, and if everything goes allright another important one will arrive for 4.10.

kul, jer iskakanje notificationsa zbilja ostavlja amaterski dojam. ima funkcionalnost, ali ono kad se krenu preklapat jedni preko drugih i kad slova vire preko rubova na sve strane.. pa kad ih se zareda onako puno pa izgleda sve neuredno zbrdazdola.. mnj

napredak, ali osobno mi i dalje ima nekakav "clunky" feeling.

Nego, da ne otvaram novu temu, ima interesa da napravim mali how-to za kdesrc-build alat?

Sa vrlo velikom sigurnošću možeš pretpostaviti da ima interesa

ontopic: se da taj pristup (buildanje kde-a lokalno) usporediti sa buildanjem u OBS-u i onda povlačenje paketa iz personalnih repozitorija. Gledajući iz perspektive performansi buildanih binarija, lokalno je sigurno bolje. Međutim što je praktičnije?
