Final Beta is out, and things are now getting locked down ready for release. There are still some significant bugs to fix in the next two weeks but we’re in heads-down-working mode to get them ready in time for the 19th October.

The last few weeks have been great fun though. We had the Ubuntu Rally in New York City where we worked alongside a host of other free software developers on a variety of desktop related issues. A few highlights ahead of a proper Rally report:

Released support for badges and progress bar in the Dock5
Fixed some HiDPI scaling issues under Xorg
Wrote some patches for GNOME Shell to enable it to match snap application windows and got those upstreamed1.
Found and fixed the monitors.xml issue which was preventing login with multi-monitor and corrupting monitors.xml
Got the LibreOffice snap working under Wayland
Worked with Ikey Doherty on adding snap support to the Solus store
Worked with Daniel Fore on building snaps for Elementary
Worked with Jonas Ådahl on lots of Wayland issues
Decided that the time was right to stop building 32bit desktop ISOs.
Enjoyed spending time with our teammates

Nisam nigdje vidio da će biti odgode, trebao bi izaći sutra kako je najavljeno.

Potvrđujem iz drugih izvora Kubuntač isto izlazi sutra.
