Automobil je zasnovan na konceptu Lincoln Future iz 1955., a osim u serijalu, u filmskoj adaptaciji o superjunaku ulicama Gotham Cityja vozio ga je i glumac Adam West 1966. godine. Vjeruje se da bi neki od ljubitelja limenih ljubimaca za njega mogao izdvojiti iznos veći od 4.6 milijuna dolara. Upravo je tu cijenu na aukciji 2010. godine postigao James Bondov Aston Martin DB5 iz 1964.
