Ovo sa Savefrom.net je nešto do Google accounta. Imam tri PC-a i na sva tri je isto. Probao sam i novi Firefox profil, drugu državu, druge PREF postavke cookiea i ne znam što sve ne. Jedino da ih pitam na Redditu, ne znam što dalje...

Instalirao sam SaveFrom.net helper i uglavnom ispunjava svoju svrhu, ali kako rado koristim terminal, tamo gdje znam i mogu, malo više od znatiželje me zanima šta se dogodilo sa youtube-dl... I to na svim distribucijama koje trenutno pratim... Dabian 11.1; Debian 10.11 i Linux Uma 20.2 ...
Pa imaš yt-dlp, argumenti su skoro pa identični kao za youtube-dl. Dobro je što kod terminala možeš učitati vlastiti cookie pa skinuti video koji nije public.

Htio sam preuzeti (download) neke video-sadržaje s Youtubea. Nisam to činio barem jednu godinu i mislio sam naivno da se ništa nije promijenilo. Naposljetku sam potrošio puna dva sata dok nisam uspio. Opisat ću sve korake, možda nekome pomogne.

Dakle, otvorim željeni Youtube sadržaj, utipkam
ss
umjesto
, ali bez rezultata. Automatski me prenese na stranicu YouTubeVideoDownloader (SavefromNet), potom unesem link u kućicu, no pročitam poruku

Vratim se na Youtube i ispod videa kliknem na Download i na to stigne poruka

Sad sam već morao guglati u potrazi za sličnim iskustvom i eventualnim rješenjem.

Netko je upozorio da ffmpeg treba nadograditi na novu verziju. Kod mene u Kubuntu 20.04.4 bio je ffmpeg 4.4, pa sam ga nadogradio na 6.1, preuzevši novi repozitorij iz Ubuntu 22.04 odavde https://askubuntu.com/questions/1463747 ... t-in-22-04 Pokušam ponovo preuzeti svoj video, ali ništa, sve isto kao prije.

Guglam dalje i nađem prijedlog s preuzimanjem i instalacijom yt-dlp-gui platforme. Mogu probati, idem na Github, preuzimam i instaliram https://github.com/dsymbol/yt-dlp-gui Opet ništa, ista meta, isto odstojanje. Kad pokrenem tu platformu i unesem link, čitam samo Error, Error, Error. Valjda sam zadnji put vidio toliko error upozorenja dok mi je bio u rukama famozni Commodore 64.

No, ta asocijacija daje mi ideju i pokušavam ovaj put kroz MS Win 10. Instaliram preporučeni program EaseUS Media https://multimedia.easeus.com/ i to samo probnu verziju. Doista preuzimam dva videa, ali dalje ne ide bez plaćanja i službene registracije, što ne želim. Deinstaliram EaseUS Media i vraćam se GNU/Linuxu, nešto moram pronaći.

U moru aplikacija biram Y2Mate i napokon uspijevam preuzeti sve željene sadržaje. Dakle, problem sam time riješio i postigao sam što sam htio, ali nisam uvjeren da je ovo konačno rješenje. Mišljenja, savjeti, preporuke?

Što fali yt-dlp kroz terminal? Svakako je on srž svih tih downloadera s GUI-em. Svaki dan skidam po nekoliko videa bez problema.

Probao sam sad i ne ide. Instalirao sam obje ponuđene verzije, i stariju verziju datiranu 8. travnja 2022

Potom sam izabrao preuzeti samo audio (glazbeni) sadržaj s Youtubea

Zato ću ostati zasad uz ranije spomenutu aplikaciju, jer mi je jedino ona funkcionirala. Naravno, sve bih radije učinio u terminalu, ali još ne vidim svjetlo na kraju tunela.

To je za audio, samo promijeni path jer ja sam na Windowsima. Uvijek moraš imati najnoviju verziju, YouTube stalno nešto mijenja, pogotovo u posljednjih nekoliko mjeseci.

Nekad pomogne brisanje cachea:

Prije par dana također sam pokušao skinuti neki video s YT-a preko SaveFromNet dodatka, također neuspješno.
Sjetih se tad Invidious stranice, posjetih neku s liste (nažalost yewtu.be nije radila kako treba) i skinuo sam video doslovno desnim klikom na video pa na Save as..

Pokušaj to, ništa te ne košta.

Invidious ne podržava dash format pa za veće rezolucije moraš ručno mergeati audio i video.

Sad sam nasumice izabrao nekoliko Youtube video sadržaja i bez problema sam ih preuzeo starom, banalnom metodom SavefromNet Download, aktivirajući Download na samoj web stranici videa. Sve je radilo izvrsno kao prije, čak i oni video sadržaji koji su mi prije dva dana bili potpuno nedostupni. Ne znam u čemu je (bio?) problem, ali svakako ću zadržati alternativu, i onaj Y2Mate, i preuzimanje kroz terminal uz yt-dlp.

Kao što rekoh, YouTube stalno nešto mijenja, od samog API-a do codeca, pa ti budi pametan i skuži gdje je problem. Imam na tisuće skinutih YouTube videa i kad neki ne mogu skinuti, updateam yt-dlp ili pokušam kasnije, ali to je stvarno rijetko. Puno brže mi je preko terminala jer sa CTRL+R uvijek pozovem iste postavke za određeni kanal ili lokaciju.
