uglavnom napravili su nesto sto baca na Debian CUT (Constantly Usable Testing).

napravili su dva repozitorija jedan ko neki testing i jedan 'stable'. svi updteovi od debian testinga idu u taj ko testing i od prilike jednom mjesecno kada je sve istestirano i nema problema updateaju stable repozitorij.

tako ako si pocetnik ili ako ti se neda zezati koristis taj stable i updatea se sustav jednom mjesecno i nikad nemas problema.

moze ali preporuka je za pocetnike ne jos koristiti taj novi update manager i nove repozitorije za sada zbog mogucih greska ali ovo ljeto izlazi novi respin i od onda pocinje sluzbeno...

Before I go on and tell you how to update your system for this… I’d like to warn everybody that is BRAND NEW! It’s a new concept, it comes with a new Update Manager and a brand new server. Like everything new in I.T. it holds great promises and it’s nicely designed, but it’s never been used on a large scale before and it hasn’t been faced with community testing yet.

For this reason, unless you’re interested in helping the team and the project in regards to LMDE, I would recommend you wait for the respins of LMDE which will come this summer and in which these features will be fully integrated.

Here is some interesting news for those who have been awaiting the Kubuntu-based "KDE" edition of Linux Mint 11.04.
The sub-project's lead, Jamie "Boo" Birse, has announced that, due to various problems with the initial Kubuntu-based alpha release, he will restart the development with a Debian base instead.
"News people! Good and bad as it turns out, due to all the Ubuntu problems I am swapping the base from Kubuntu to Debian. What does this mean? A bit more of a wait but it is DEBIAN! Hopefully this won't take too long as I have the packages built and the ISO build process is very similar."
