What should I know before moving from ubuntu to debian? I am currently using ubuntu and have been for about 4-5 months. I want to move onto something a bit more difficult and closer to a "true linux" as I hear it. But what are the things I should know? I know the common terminal commands and have done my fair share of trouble shooting on my ubuntu machine. Since it is debian based I figured it will be similar but anything special I should know?

Main differences are:

- sudo is not enabled by default
- there is no non-free drivers in Debian kernel, you must know how to troubleshoot that.
- non-free repositories (with non-free or contrib applications) are not enabled by default.
- some multimedia mambo jumbo is not available in official repositories
- stable updates almost never include newer version of packages/applications, only critical bugs and security fixes, but you can alway consider using testing branch (most of the time testing is more stable then most of the other distributions stable branches)
- debian is the best

To je napredni bot, zamaskira se pa naivni misle da nije bot, no nije li vam pomalo čudno što nikad ništa ne piše na te topice koje otvara, čak i kad netko na njih odgovori? Plus, sintaksa joj/mu nije baš najjača strana, a u potpisu na toj temi koju je Suko linkao ima KEYWORD SPY-nešto --- mislim da bi svima trebalo biti jasno kako funkcionira.
Hoćemo ju ostaviti ili obrisati?

Možda čak bude znala riješiti problem s instalacijom drivera za printer pa bude i korisna.
